MStory Sparkers for Standard Bank.

Nal’ibali is a National reading for enjoyment campaign which aims to spark children’s potential through story telling and reading. We do this through storytelling, reading and a network of reading clubs.

We are looking for motivated young people who love stories and reading to join us to share this passion with the schools in your local community that we can get all children reading!

Who are Story Sparkers?

Story sparkers promote the Nal’ibali campaign and inspire the community and schools to establish and participate in reading clubs. They work with a team of volunteers to ensure activation of reading clubs and campaign activities, assist the volunteers to gain access to the resources they need to sustain reading clubs and continue to provide regular mentorship and inspiration to them. They also observe, report on and capture data regarding activities taking place at the school.

Can you be a Story Sparker?

To be a Story Sparker you must have a Matric Certificate, be Computer Literate and can demonstrate previous work experience. Most importantly you must be passionate about growing the love of reading in your community, be interested in children and able to engage with children and teachers. You must also be willing to commute to the Ebony Park Primary School.
