TIP OFF LEADS POLICE TO TWO SUSPECTED DRUG DEALERS IN EXTENSION 2

Two (2) alleged drug dealers are currently behind bars at the Ivory Park SAPS’s police after they were arrested in their localities this morning.

“The two suspects, aged 30 and 37 and working independently of each other, were arrested in Extension Two by the members of the Benoni Flying Squad after they were allegedly found in possession and for dealing in crystal meth and mandrax with a combined value of one thousand rand plus an undisclosed amount of cash.” said Captain Ben Matimulane, the spokesperson of Ivory Park SAPS.

“Tip offs such as these, which led to the arrest of the two men, are a sure way of getting rid of drug peddlers in our community. They may not be big in terms of scale but their arrest will clearly send out a message that we will go after every dealer, their size notwithstanding,” said Colonel Baba Mpotoane, the Acting Station Commander of the Ivory Park.

They are expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s on Thursday or soon thereafter to answer to the charges levelled at them.
