TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF HIJACKED MOTORBIKES IN IVORY PARK

Gauteng Traffic Wardens aka AmaPanyaza, alongside the Gauteng Traffic Police STT (Eastern Corridor), made a breakthrough in Ivory Park, leading to the arrest of two suspects linked to motorbike hijackings.

While patrolling Ivory Park and surrounding areas, officers noticed two suspicious men carrying a large black plastic bag. Upon inspection, they discovered motorbike parts and three number plates hidden inside the bag. Further investigation revealed that the number plates were linked to motorbikes hijacked in Olivenhoutbosch.

Acting swiftly, the officers instructed the suspects to take them to their property, where they uncovered three stripped motorbikes believed to be stolen. The suspects were immediately arrested and charged with:

✅ Possession of a Hijacked Motorbike
✅ Possession of Suspected Stolen Property

Authorities continue their investigations to determine if the suspects are part of a larger syndicate involved in motorbike theft in Gauteng. Community members are urged to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.

The suspects will appear before the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court soon.
