Loadshedding will be reduced to Stage 3 at 05:00 on Friday until midnight. Eskom anticipates Stages 1 and 2 will be required for Saturday, with Stage 2 loadshedding only implemented at 16:00 until 22:00 on Sunday.
Eskom further anticipates lower stages of loadshedding to be implemented next week as some units return to service.
Our areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE), Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, President Park, Glen Austin, Mayibuye, Klipfontein and Tswelopele will be affected by the Loadshedding as follows:
Thursday, 14 July 22:00 until 00:00
Friday, 15 July 06:00 until 08:30
Friday, 15 July 14:00 until 16:30
Saturday, 16 July 22:00 until 00:00
Sunday, 17 July 20:00 until 22:30
Monday, 18 July 05:00 until 06:30
Tuesday , 19 July No Loadshedding
Wednesday, 20 July 20:00 until 22:30
Thursday, 21 July 18:00 until 20:30
The weekend loadshedding stages are confirmed. The stage of loadshedding for the next week is dependent on returning generating units to service and will be confirmed closer to the time.
Eskom cautions the public that it will still take a few weeks for the power generation system to recover.
