Qualifications and Experience
?Grade 12 or equivalent
?Experience or ability to work with community
?Demonstrate ability to work by foot in the community on daily basis and taking care of households
?Good communication, listening and writing skills.
?Reside in community where they serve.
?Able to speak language locals speak
?Training in Home Based Care (69 days) will be advantageous
?No Criminal Record
?Able to work independently and as part of team.
?Age 50 years and less
Key Duties and Responsibilities
?carry out assessments of communities, households, groups and individuals.
? provide health education, support and referrals
?create awareness of healthy lifestyles, disease, disabilities and other related activities
?support and assist in navigating the health and social services
?identify health related risks
?manage minor health problems
Candidates will be subjected to an assessment process to determine eligibility.
