WATER RESERVOIRS RUNNING LOW

It’s becoming a norm for the areas of Kaalfontein, Ebony Park and Ivory Park to be without water.

Earlier this week, Johannesburg Water cited Rand Water-implemented “water restrictions “ as the cause for the lack of water.

On Wednesday, 22 September 2021, Johannesburg Water said technical team was onsite investigating the cause of insufficient flow into the Grand Central reservoir.

At the time of publishing, Johannesburg Water said that the investigations are still ongoing.

Johannesburg Water further added on Twitter that the reservoirs feeding the areas of Kaalfontein, Ebony Park and Ivory Park are currently running low hence the reason for the areas not currently having water.

No water tankers have been deployed and no expected time of restoration has been communicated.
