WATER UPDATE : MOST AREAS IN KAE FULLY RESTORED , BUT SOME STILL FACING DISRUPTIONS

We are pleased to share that most areas in KAE (Kaalfontein , Allandale, Ebony Park, Ivory Park,Rabie Ridge and Mayibuye) are now fully restored with clean water.

However, we understand that some residents are still experiencing disruptions, such as dirty water, low water pressure, or no water at all.

Rand Water has stated that customers in low-lying areas like Ebony Park are receiving water, while areas in high-flying areas like Allandale and Klipfontein may still experience no water or poor pressure as the systems continue to improve.

Johannesburg Water is doing everything in their power to restore water supply to all residents as quickly as possible.

According to Johannesburg Water, the Rabie Ridge Reservoir is operating normally, while the President Park Reservoir is “low but stable” with improved levels being noted. However, the Grand Central reservoir supplying most of Greater Midrand area is critically low.

We urge residents to continue using water sparingly during this time and to limit non-essential water usage until the situation has improved.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates as they become available. In the meantime, we encourage all residents to keep an eye out for updates from KAE News, your trusted source for news and information in the KAE area.
