CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY RELOCATION UNITS IN RABIE RIDGE

Requirements:
? Must be South African citizen
?Must have Matric
?Must be able to communicate, read and write in English and local languages
?Must be reliable and accountable
?Must be a resident of Greater Ivory Park and know the area and surroundings well
?Must be currently unemployed
?Should be prepared to work extended hours
?Should not be a contractor
?Must be able to resolve conflicts
?Should have an understanding of construction and be able to communicate with contractors, labourers and sub-contractors.

Key Performance Areas
? Communication between key stakeholders, namely Ward Councilor, Community, JOSHCO, JDA, contractor, labourers employed and project manager
?Liaison with other service providers operating in the area
?Identify and facilitate availability of local resources
? Keep the stakeholders aware of community affairs dynamics
? Assist the contractor’s supervisory staff in the management of workers
?Report weekly to the contractor and community structures with respect to progress on reaching local labour targets, training and equity status of employees
