RAND WATER OPENS VALVES
Rand Water has opened their valve which was affecting water supply to the reservoirs in Rabie Ridge and President Park amongst others.
The valve was opened by Rand Water at 19:30 on Friday. The Rabie Ridge and President Park reservoirs supply the areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE), Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge.
Johannesburg Water says it should start receiving full flow of water in the reservoirs. Residents should have running taps in a few hours.
It is unfortunate that Rand Water or Johannesburg Water do not send notices for when the water will be interrupted.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly and save some water for interruptions like the last 24 hours.
