CHURCH ROBBED IN TEMBISA

On Wednesday, 25 May 2022, at Entshonalanga Section between Entshonalanga and Ivory Park a church was robbed by four armed suspects.

It was alleged by one of the congregants inside the church that the incident happened immediately after they finished contributing money.

Before the money could be taken to the pastor the suspects entered the church armed with pistols. They took the money and church member’s items which were cellphones, car keys and money.

He further stated that gun shots were fired inside the church while some members were brutally beaten up by chairs, speaker cable and few by the gun itself.

One member inside the church was brave enough to call the Station Commander of Tembisa South to request police assistance and it didn’t take long for the police to arrive at the scene

Unfortunately, the suspects had already left by that time. A case has been opened and investigation is ongoing.
