A RE SEBETSENG CONTINUES
A re Sebetseng is an initiative by the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality to address historical backlogs.
The initiative was launched on the 30th of May 2022 and will continue this week for its second week.
A Re Sebetseng is an initiative by the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) in collaboration with Johannesburg Water, Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo and the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport.
City employees will continue tackling service delivery issues in Region A which comprises of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE), Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge amongst other areas.
Some of the service delivery issues so far that have been attended to all over Region A include:
- clean up of the bridges.
- Filling of potholes and painting of road markings
- Deep patching
- Removal of illegal speed humps
- Reinstatement work
The A Re Sebetseng initiative will continue until Friday, 10 June in Region A.
