ALLEGED DRUG DEALERS AND HIJACKERS ARRESTED IN TEMBISA
Three (3) arrests were made for possession of drug substances and unlicensed firearms in Tembisa today, 26 May.
This followed routine crime prevention by EMPD in the early hours. One of the suspects was found carrying a bag containing drug substances and equipment used to manufacture drugs.
The suspect then took the officers to his two accomplices where an unlicensed firearm, live ammunition and identity documents not belonging to them were discovered.
One suspect confessed to being responsible for some of the carjackings in Thembisa.
All three were charged with dealing in drug substances, unlicensed firearms with live ammunition and motor hijacking. They will appear in court soon.
