BE WARNED!

It has come to the attention of the Tembisa police that there is a trend of loss of property due to spiking of drinks.

On Thursday, the 06th January 2022, a 45 year old man had his car stolen in his yard and some of his clothing and electrical equipment with an undisclosed amount.

It is alleged that the man from EMangweni Section ,Tembisa, visited a famous lounge where he met three ladies.

He made a move on one and later they both en route to his house. He apparently does not remember what happened, except that when he woke up in the morning, his VW Polo car, microwave, shoes, cellphones were stolen and the so called girlfriend was nowhere to be found.

A case of Theft and theft of a motorvehicle was reported at Tembisa SAPS.

“Police are warning the communities, irrespective of gender, to be wary of such people who pose as innocent and later strike with their criminal activities” cautioned the Tembisa SAPS Spokesperson, Constable Patricia Mgijimi.

The syndicate is supposedly targeting drinking spots around Tembisa, Midrand and KAE as surrounding police stations have also similar cases.
