BUSINESS ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

It is alleged that on Tuesday morning at Kaalfontein Ext.5, the complainant was coming from the supermarket nearby, arriving at his spaza shop and his brother who was inside the shop opened for him to enter.

“He was surprised to see an African male behind him. He pointed him with a firearm and pushed him inside the shop instructing him to lie down. Suddenly 3 other African males entered demanding cash and cell phones. They started to search the shop taking groceries, 3 cellular phones and R2000 cash.” said Captain Neldah Sekgobela, the Ekurhuleni District Spokesperson.

The police arrived and swiftly arrested one African male in possession of a 9 mm pistol with the serial number rubbed off and 10 9mm live ammunition.

The Suspect is 45 years old, from Alexandra . Other suspects ran away with a white Toyota Professional with unknown registration number.
