CONFIRMED CORONAVIRUS CASE AT YARONA

KAE News has been reliably informed that an employee at Yarona Shopping Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee works at Shoprite at YARONA Shopping Centre in Kaalfontein.

The store has been closed to the general public until further notice.

The Minister of Health, Dr Zweli Mkhize said that Gauteng is expected to emerge as the country’s COVID-19 epicenter in the next coming days.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Gauteng is 36 895, with 9 378 recoveries as at 28 June 2020.

At local level, City of Johannesburg’s Region A which includes Ebony Park, Ivory Park and Midrand has 1,065 active coronavirus cases.
