EMERGENCY WATER SHUTDOWN IN KAE
Johannesburg Water says that the President Park Reservoir is relatively empty. Therefore, there’s an emergency water shutdown. Areas affected are Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Ivory Park, President Park, Glen Austin and Austin View.
They will be no water for 13 hours starting at 18:00. Water is expected to be restored tomorrow morning at 07:00. Johannesburg Water team is on site repairing a 700mm burst pipe and excavation has commenced.
6 water tanks and 10 trucks are roaming in the high lying areas
