The Greater Midrand area in Region A, under the City of Johannesburg, is gearing up for a series of crucial events that will shape the future of your community.

These upcoming Community-Based Planning (CBP) sessions are the first step towards crafting the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for your region.

We encourage all residents to actively participate in these vital gatherings to ensure that your needs and aspirations are heard and incorporated into the future development of Greater Midrand.

Cluster 1: Ward 92, 80, 111, and 110

When: Saturday, 07 October 2022

Time: 09:00 – 15:00

Where: Lord Khanyile Hall, Ivory Park

Cluster 1 encompasses the neighborhoods of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park, Rabie Ridge, and Glen Austin. This is your chance to have a direct impact on the development of these areas. Your input on issues like infrastructure, service delivery, economic growth, and social development is invaluable.

Cluster 2: Session 1 – Ward 77 and 133

When: Saturday, 21 October 2023

Time: 09:00 – 15:00

Where: Ivory Park North Hall

Cluster 2: Session 2 – Ward 78 and 79

When: Saturday, 21 October 2023

Time: 09:00 – 15:00

Where: Lord Khanyile Hall, Ivory Park

Cluster 2 focuses on Ward 77, 133, 78, and 79. These sessions are an opportunity for residents to discuss issues specific to their neighborhoods, including Ivory Park as a whole, and contribute to the broader development of Greater Midrand.

Cluster 3: Ward 93, 94, 112, and 132

When: Saturday, 04 November 2023

Time: 09:00 – 15:00

Where: Midrand Fire Station

This cluster covers the more affluent areas of Midrand such as Noorswyk, Halfqay House, Carsworld and presents a unique opportunity for residents in these neighborhoods to actively participate in shaping the future of your community.
