ESKOM IMPLEMENTS STAGE 2 LOADSHEDDING

“ Loadshedding will regretfully be implemented from 16:00 this afternoon until 05:00 on Wednesday, 20 April, due to additional generation unit losses and delayed return to service of generators” said Eskom in a statement on Sunday afternoon.

Accordingly, our areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE),Ivory Park, President Park, Glen Austin, Mayibuye, Rabie Ridge, Klipfontein and Tswelopele will be affected as follows:

Sunday, 17 April 20:00 until 22:30
Monday, 18 April 04:00 until 06:30
Tuesday, 19 April 04:00 until 06:30
Tuesday, 19 April 12:00 until 14:30
Wednesday, No Loadshedding

“The power system remains unpredictable, and Eskom would like to inform the public that any further deterioration in generation capacity may require higher stages of Loadshedding” said Eskom.
