ESKOM IMPLEMENTS STAGE 4 LOADSHEDDING

Eskom started implementing Stage 4 loadshedding on Tuesday morning, 19 April 2022.

The power utility says that this follows Majuba Unit 5 and Tutuka Unit 4 tripping. The loadshedding was scheduled to be suspended on Wednesday morning but will unfortunately be implemented until Friday morning at 05:00.

Our areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE),Ivory Park, President Park, Glen Austin, Mayibuye, Rabie Ridge, Klipfontein and Tswelopele will be affected by the Stage 4 Loadshedding as follows:

Tuesday 19 April 12:00 until 14:30
Tuesday 19 April 20:00 until 22:30
Wednesday 20 April 04:00 until 06:30
Wednesday 20 April 12:00 until 14:30
Wednesday 20 April 20:00 until 22:30
Thursday 21 April 02:00 until 04:30
Thursday 21 April 10:00 until 12:30
Thursday 21 April 18:00 until 20:30
Friday 22 April 02:00 until 04:30

Eskom would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the loadshedding and has said Loadshedding is implemented as a last resort.
