FAKE NEWS ABOUT SHUT DOWN OF PRETORIA AND JOHANNESBURG
A message that has been circulating on Social Media purporting to be issued by the South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) Gauteng Chairperson Mr. Johannes Mkhonza is fake. The taxi industry is not planning any shutdown today or tomorrow in Pretoria and Johannesburg respectively.
Taxi operators, commuters and the community at large are encouraged to ignore the message intending to cause confusion and chaos.
SANTACO and other industry players will continue working with authorities in an effort to resolve problems that they are facing in the city.
