Phase 2 of the Gauteng Department of Education’s Online Admissions opened today, 13 September 2021 and will end on Friday, 8 October 2021.
Parents or guardians looking to register their children to a public school for the 2022 academic year may do so by visiting www.gdeadmissions.gov.za
Parents are urged to prepare the following certified documents when applying:
- Parent and Child ID/Passport
- South African Birth Certificate
- Asylum Seeker Permit, if applicable
- Permanent Residence permit, if applicable
- Study permit, if applicable
- Proof of Home Address
- Proof of Work address
- Latest School Report
- Clinic Card
Parents are urged to upload these documents onto the system or submit them at the schools they applied to within 7 days of applying.
