HOUSE EVICTION AWARENESS MEETING

The Tembisa Community Forum will lead a “House Eviction Awareness” program in partnership with relevant stakeholders on Wednesday, 26 October 2022.

The aim of the program is to educate residents and make them aware of the eviction process. This is to stop illegal evictions of residents from their homes.

This comes after a number of evictions have been reported in the Tembisa area of late.

Amongst the stakeholders that will be present is the Sheriff’s Office, SAPS, EMPD, Ekurhuleni Municipality, Legal Aid and the Law Society of South Africa.
