JOBURG SPEAKER VISITS KAALFONTEIN

The recently elected Speaker of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, COPE’s Cllr Colleen Makhubele visited “Foster View” informal settlement in Kaalfontein on Tuesday, 18 October 2022.

Foster View informal settlement is in Kaalfontein Ext 7B near the park where some illegal structures were demolished by JMPD officials accompanied by Red Ants last week Thursday, 13 October 2022.

The illegal structures are built in a wetland belonging to the Joburg Park and Zoo.

Mukhubele promised residents that the newly elected ANC Mayor, Dada Morero will be “forced” to visit the area “in the next two weeks” to asses the situation.
