Hector didn’t expect that his marriage proposal, at fast food outlet KFC, to his longtime sweetheart Nonhlanhla would go viral. Not only is it viral and has been a trending topic on Twitter for the whole day. Companies including FNB, Coca Cola, Castle Lite, Kulula.com and many more have pledged donations to make their wedding even more special.

Some of the donations the couple has been promised thus far include Lobola cash, Wedding Decor, Rings, Honeymoon flight and accommodation, performances from Zakes Batwini, Donald and Sjava, beverages for the wedding, Wedding outfits and many more.

When United, South Africans are loving people.

This gesture and the flood of comments made us shed a tear.
