LOAD REDUCTION REMINDER
Eskom will be implementing Load Reduction today, Friday 01 October 2021.
The Load Reduction is expected to be implemented in parts of Kaalfontein, Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge and Tswelopele from 17:00 to 22:00.
Load Reduction is implemented in areas with instances of illegal connections and meter bypassing to avoid network overloading.
Meanwhile, the power utility is experiencing unscheduled power outages across Gauteng as a result of the wet weather.
Eskom says that it anticipates the numbers of the outages to increase during the weekend, and appeals to customers to be patient as it works on supply restoration.
