LOAD REDUCTION TOMORROW MORNING

Eskom will implement load reduction in Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) and surrounding areas of Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, Lindokuhle and Tswelopele tomorrow 28 July 2020.

The Load Reduction will be implemented from 05: 00 to 09:00. The last time the load reduction was implemented in KAE was last week Wednesday the 22nd of July 2020.

The power utility says that the implementation of load reduction is to avoid network overloading in high density areas that are prone to illegal connections.

Residents are reminded to switch of all their electronics to avoid power surges when the power returns.

Failure to do so may lead to transformer trips or failures and damage household appliances when the power is restored.
