LOADSHEDDING IN KAE ON HOLD UNTIL SUNDAY

Today, 14 July 2020, Eskom has announced that the generation system has improved resulting in the Power Utility implementing Stage 1 Loadshedding starting at 09:00 tomorrow until 22:00.

Eskom wishes to to assure the public that implementing Loadsgedding is the last resort, in order to protect the national grid. The cold weather also means that demand for electricity has risen signifcantly. Eskom teams are working around the clock to return as many generation units as possible.

The public is urged to continue using electricity sparingly to reduce and avoid the chance of load shedding.

If Eskom continues to implement Stage 1 Load Shedding. Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) and surrounding areas of Ivory Park, President Park, Rabie Ridge, Lindokuhle and Tswelopele will be affected on Sunday, 19 July 2020 at 16:00 to 20:30.
