Two (2) alleged community patrollers have appeared before the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Thursday in connection with a murder incident in which a 36 years old man was assaulted and eventually succumbed to his injuries.

The Station Commander of the Ivory Park SAPS, Brigadier David Mbongeni Ngcobo, has welcomed the duo’s arrest.

“Mob related murders and assaults will never be tolerated regardless of what the justification is. The genuine community patrollers know how to conduct themselves,” said Brigadier Ngcobo.

The two murder suspects are part of the nine suspects arrested by the Ivory Park SAPS detectives in the past 48 hours for a range of offences, ranging from murder to malicious damage to property, assaults and domestic violence.
