MOB BURNS MAN TO ASHES

The Station Commander of the Ivory Park SAPS, Brigadier David Mbongeni Ngcobo, has expressed shock at the brutal murder of a suspected criminal by a mob in Duduza, in the Ivory Park policing precinct.

The man was burnt to death on Friday morning, for reasons that are not clear at this stage as all people at the scene and within the vicinity claim to have seen or heard nothing.

“What happened here, the burning of a person by petrol and tyres, should be condemned and we need assistance in bringing the perpetrators to justice,” said Brigadier Ngcobo.

Brigadier Ngcobo said all suspected criminals should be reported to the police and the Ivory Park SAPS has an excellent record of working well with its community.

All the police personel with relevant expertise have been called to the scene to process the crime scene. A murder case has been opened and registered at the Ivory Park SAPS.
