The Tembisa Off-Season tournament, Philly’s Games, is set to kick off tomorrow, 20 December 2020. However, it will be the first time in the tournament’s 29 year history that spectators nor vendors will be allowed.

The decision to prohibit fans from watching the soccer games is because of the regulations associated with the novel Coronavirus. Kasi football lovers will be able to watch the soccer tournament Live in HD on DStv Now and Youtube.

On the DStv Now app, the games will be broadcast on Channel 245 and a YouTube link will be shared on the morning of every matchday. The games will kick off at 10:00 in the morning. 16 teams from different townships will be participating in this year’s tournament.

This years team’s are: Boko Harm FC (from KAE), Abarondoli FC, AMA BEE, Ambassadors, Your First FC, Ndengenza FC, Sanitizers FC, The Rock FC, Tsalanang FC, One Lion FC, Isithembiso FC, Gwara. Gwara, Cheese FC, Ward 10 FC, Umlilo FC and the defending champions, Amandla FC. The draw was done on Thursday night and the fixture for 20 December 2020 will be as follows:

10:00 Umlilo FC vs Your First FC
12:00 Boko Haram vs Sanitizers
14:00 AMA BEE vs The Rock FC
16:00 Ndengeza FC vs Cheese FC

The organisers of the event have remained mum on the event location as a precaution to avoid soccer lovers from trying to attend matches.
