RABIE RIDGE POLICE OFFICERS APPLAUDED

Sergeant Phalane Lesetsa and Constable KMH Lebelo have been applauded by the Station Commander of the Rabie Ridge SAPS, Colonel Ngoma for recent successful convictions.

Through dedication and commitment of Sgt Lesetsa, a suspect in a case of house breaking and theft was arrested on the 13th February 2021.

The suspect was attending court until the 14th February 2022 where he got three (3) years straight imprisonment.

In another unrelated case, a suspect was charged and convicted with defeating the hands of justice and interfering with police duties thanks to Investigating Officer Cst Lebelo.

The accused was found guilty and sentenced to ten (10) months imprisonment or to pay fine of R2,500.00. The sentence was suspended for five (5) years on condition that the accused is not committing the same offence.

“Let this show others who think they can do as they please and disturb the service to be rendered. The police are always ready and working very hard to protect and serve.” said Sergeant Dipolelo Moremi, the spokesperson of Rabie Ridge SAPS.
