UNIDENTIFIED WHITE MALE BODY RECOVERED AT A DUMPING SITE

Local police have recovered the body of a man estimated to be in his 60s at a dumping site today, 22 March 2023.

“By the look of things the victim may have been dumped in the area, but so far no signs of violence are visible on the body, hence they have decided to open an inquest as they try to establish the identity of the victim and the course of death”, said Captain Bernard Matimulane, the spokesperson of Ivory Park SAPS.

Body was found in the Glen Austin area but under the area falling under the Ivory Park policing precinct.

Police are appealing to any member of the public who may have reported a missing person to contact them. The deceased is a white male and about 60 years and was near naked.
