CHABANGU FIT FOR TODAY’S GAME AT MEHLARENG

For the first time this season. The Technical Team of Baberwa FC has confirmed that Lerato “All You Need Is Love” Chabangu is fully fit and will be in the 18-man squad for today’s game against M. Tigers FC at Mehlareng Stadium, Tembisa.

Baberwa FC is Chabangu’s current team and competes in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League. The football club is 5th on the log and is looking to be 2nd if they win today. Their opponent M Tigers is currently 13th on the log.

Chabangu is planning make the most of his stay at the ABC Motsepe League team. “Ace” is back in the game after penning a six-month deal with the Midrand-based club. The 33-year-old former Bafana Bafana midfielder last played for Pretoria Callies, also in the Motsepe League, last year.

Baberwa is home to a lot of ex-PSL players such as Tefu Mashamaite, Luyolo Nomandela, Lucky Khune, Khethokwakhe Masuku, Bheki Nzunga, Linda Shiba and Mthokozisi Yende.

The former Bafana Bafana and Sundowns Star will play for the first time this season at his hometown Tembisa, Mehlareng Stadium if given a chance by Caretaker Coach Eric Chuene.
