GAUTENG EDUCATION PHASE 1 APPLICATIONS CLOSE TOMORROW

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) wishes to remind parents and guardians that the Phase 1 2022 Online Admissions applications period will close tomorrow on Friday, 3 September 2021 at midnight.

Phase 1 online applications period specifically targeted parents whose children are currently in Grade 7 at public schools in Gauteng and will be going to Grade 8 next year.

GDE says a total of 301 510 successful applications were recorded.

“We urge parents and guardians who had already applied to urgently upload the required documents online or submit them at school(s) they applied to”, said MEC of Education in Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi.

Phase 2 online application period will begin on 13 September 2021 and this will be for parents of children going to Grade 1 next year. Phase 2 will end on 8 October 2021.
