LOAD REDUCTION IN KAE TODAY

Eskom will implement Load Reduction today, 25 June 2020, in KAE and surrounding areas from 17:00 – 22:00 to avoid network overloading.‬ Areas affected will include Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Ivory Park, Lindokuhle, Tswelopelo and Rabie Ridge.

During the load reduction implementation, customers are urged to switch off all their electrical appliances to avoid power surges when power returns. Failure to do so may lead to transformer trips or failures, and damages to household appliances when supply is restored.

The load reduction is the second one in a week after the above areas experienced load reduction on Monday, 22 June 2020.
