LOADSHEDDING IN THE MORNING

Eskom will continue with Stage 4 Loadshedding tomorrow, 3 September 2020.

Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) and Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, President Park and Midrand will be affected from 08:00 to 12:30 in the morning.

Eskom says Loadshedding is likely to persist throughout the weekend as their teams “work around the clock” to return as many generation units as possible.

“The Loadshedding is necessary in order to conserve emergency reserves while also maintaining the stability of the power system “ says Eskom in a statement.

Residents are urged to continue reducing electricity usage in order to assist Eskom to reduce instances of Loadshedding.

KAE News will keep updating you on the electricity crisis we are facing and the Loadshedding/load reduction schedule on an as and when basis.

We are also forging ahead with our class action lawsuit on behalf of communities that have not had electricity for a prolonged period of time during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is due to Eskom’s unwillingness to repair failed transformers in Ebony Park, Allandale, Ivory Park and Kaalfontein.

We urge communities that have been affected by transformer failures to email us on legal@kaenews.co.za with purchase of last electricity bill, ID Number, House Number, when you last had electricity and how same has affected your wellbeing financially and emotionally.
