LOADSHEDDING INCREASED TO STAGE 6

Eskom says that “Seven units tripped today, of which three have returned to service. In addition, the return to service of three other units has been delayed. Unit 1 of Matla Power Station will be shut down tonight to repair a boiler tube leak.”

Consequently, the implementation of loadshedding will be escalated to Stage 6 during the night, starting at 21:00 on Tuesday night until 05:00 on Wednesday morning. Stage 6 nightly loadshedding will then be implemented at 16:00 -05:00 until further notice. Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented at 05:00 – 16:00 daily until further notice.

Our areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) and surrounding areas of Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, President Park, Glen Austin, Mayibuye, Klipfontein, Clayville and Tswelopele will be affected by the loadshedding as follows:

Wednesday, 11 January 00:00 until 02:30
Wednesday, 11 January 08:00 until 10:30
Wednesday, 11 January 16:00 until 20:30
Thursday, 12 January 00:00: until 02:30
Thursday, 12 January 08:00 until 10:30
Thursday, 12 January 16:00 until 20:30
Friday, 13 January 06:00 until 08:30
Friday, 13 January 14:00 until 16:30
Friday, 13 January 22:00 until Saturday, 14 January 02:30
Saturday, 14 January 06:00 until 08:30
Saturday, 14 January 14:00 until 16:30
Saturday, 14 January 22:00 until 00:30
Sunday, 15 January 06:00 until 08:30
Sunday, 15 January 14:00 until 18:30
Sunday , 15 January 22:00 until 00:30
