LOADSHEDDING REDUCED TO STAGE 1

Loadshedding will be reduced from Stage 2 to Stage 1 on Friday night at 21:00 until 05:00 on Monday “as good progress has been achieved in recovering generation capacity” says Eskom.

This comes as Ebony Park and Ivory Park are experiencing a power outage since Thursday night due to cable theft. Unfortunately, ETR is still not known.

The areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Rabie Ridge, President Park, Glen Austin, Klipfontein, Mayibuye and Tswelopele will be affected by the Stage 1 Loadshedding as follows:

Friday, 04 February 20:00 until 22:30
Saturday, 05 February 02:00 until 04:30
Sunday, 06 February 10:00 until 12:30
Monday, 07 February No Loadshedding

Residents are reminded to switch off all non-essential electrical appliances during the Loadshedding to avoid power surges when the power returns. Failure to do so may lead to unnecessary trips or damages to household appliances when the supply is restored.
