Eskom’s Stage 2 Loadshedding implementation will continue throughout the weekend until Sunday night at 22:00. Loadshedding was temporarily suspended at noon on Friday to allow Parliament to pass the Appropriation Bill in response to a request by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Loadshedding will continue at 17:00 across the country.

Eskom says that the power system remains constrained and vulnerable and South Africans are urged to reduce their electricity consumption.

The areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) and surrounding areas of Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, Tswelopele, President Park and Glen Austin will be affected by the Loadshedding this weekend as follows:

Friday,04 June 2021 20:00 until 22:30

Saturday, 05 June 2021 02:00 until 04:30

Sunday, 06 June 2021 02:00 until 04:30

Sunday, 06 June 2021 10:00 until 12:30
