Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 2 Loadshedding across the country today, 20 June 2022 until Thursday, 23 June 2022, from 17:00 until 22:00.
The power utility says that the power system is severely constrained due to a shortage of generation capacity.
Our areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park, Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, President Park, Glen Austin, Mayibuye, Klipfontein and Tswelopele will be affected by the loadshedding as follows:
Monday, 20 June 20:00 until 22:00
Tuesday, 21 June 18:00 until 20:30
Wednesday, 22 June No Loadshedding
Thursday, 23 June No Loadshedding
Residents are reminded to switch off appliances during the Loadshedding to avoid power surges when the electricity returns.
KAE News will provide updates as and when necessary and the situation changes.
