SHE STROLLED OUT OF MALL OF AFRICA WITH REFUSE BAGS FULL OF MILLIONS!

FORMER EMPLOYEE OF CASH-IN-TRANSIT COMPANY WANTED FOR THEFT OF MILLIONS OF RANDS

The Police are looking for Bathobile Mlangeni. The former SBV gaurd took off with R4 million cash at SBV’s basement depot at the Mall of Africa. She hasn’t reported for work ever since the incident happened on the 15th of July 2019.

The Soweto resident was on duty on the day. She reportedly cut open two bulk cash bags with a pair of scissors before transferring the money into a number of refuse bags which she placed in a trolley and simply strolled out of the depot.

Mlangeni has been working at the Mall of Africa depot since 2017 and was probably aware of the security measures in place. SBV management questioned her collegues but have not been able to find out who exactly assisted her.

Her family has also been placed on surveillance to check whether their lifestyles had changed since Mlangeni’s disappearance. However, this has not been the case.

Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said Mlangeni was wanted in connection with the disappearance of millions of rands while she was on duty.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mlangeni is asked to contact Cpt Oupa Miya on 082-333-0525 or Det/Sgt Tumo Mohutsiwa on 082-822-6794.
