UNCLE IS ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED RAPE OF NIECE

Detectives from the Ekurhuleni North District have arrested a 38 year- old man for the alleged rape of his niece. The incident took place while the two were busy jogging in the Ivory Park policing precinct late afternoon to early evening on Thursday of the 23rd of January 2020.

It is said that while the two were busy with their exercise routine which they are used to doing together, the suspect began to make inappropriate sexual remarks to the 22-year-old victim. The victim was surprised by this remarks coming as they did from her uncle, but she opted to continue jogging home, hoping they will never amount to anything.

The uncle then just grabbed her, pulled to the nearby veld not far from the busy republic road, where he forced himself on her. Upon her arrival at home the lady relayed to her parents what had happened to her, and a case of rape was opened against the suspect at the Ivory Park SAPS. He is due to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 27 January 2020, to answer to this charge.
