UPDATE: CORONAVIRUS CASES IN SOUTH AFRICA
As of today, 26 April 2020, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 4,546. This is an increase of 185 from previously reported cases. A total of 7,639 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of tests to 168,643.
We regrettably report another coronavirus related death which occurred in the Western Cape. The national death toll is now 87.
We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
