ONE TAXI, ONE DESTINATION

Great News! From tomorrow, 20 November 2020, residents of Greater Thembisa and Ivory Park will now travel in one taxi from their local destination to Mall of Thembisa.

The hand signal above, will take passengers directly to Mall of Thembisa. This follows recent discussions between stakeholders at Mall of Thembisa through Pheme Consulting (a local consulting firm), Tembisa Local Taxi Association (TELTA), Ivory Park Taxi Association (IPTA) and SANTACO.

The resolutions taken in these discussions will see a historic relationship between IPTA and TELTA that will benefit the community and put more than R20,00 back into their pockets per trip.

The discussions have also borne new routes including direct route from anywhere in Greater Ivory Park to Bitch Acres Mall with number 7 ?? as a hand signal.
