RIP WARRANT OFFICER CHOENE FRANCE RANOTO

Members of SAPS in Tembisa South and neighbouring Stations, EHW, CPF, Popcru, Cosatu ,Community policing Forum and the Community of Tembisa gathered at Tembisa Hall to celebrate the life of Warrant Officer Choene France Ronoto.

The Warrant Officer met his untimely death with the ADT Security officer at one a Filling station in Tembisa South, on Thursday last week during business robbery in progress.

The member was described as a straight talker, dedicated member committed to his work and a soldier by his fellow soccer team, Colleagues and his Station Commander Colonel Nthipe Boloka.

According to the Station Commander he didn’t die folding his arms, but tried to return fire after he realised that their lives were in danger, unfortunately one of the suspects who had a rifle noticed that he was fighting back, That’s when he shot him on the upper body. The member was airlifted to Milpark hospital where he passed on the same day.

The other two Police officers were shot at, at the scene and are still in hospital

He will be buried at Gamatlala, Limpopo on Saturday morning.
