WATER SHUTDOWN TO AFFECT MIDRAND

Rand Water has announced that it will undertake urgent repairs on a pipeline that is leaking today, 27 March 2021.

The water shutdown will start at 18:00 for a duration of 28 hours and will affect Greater Midrand, Halfway House, Rem Allandale and Chloorkop which is supplied by Ekurhuleni.

“Due to the large scale of the area, we may not be able to roll out tanks to affected areas and we appeal to all residents to use water sparingly” said Johannesburg Water in a statement.

Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge may or may not be affected. KAE News urges you to save water for waste case scenario.
